RTP Launches "The Cowboy" – A new Portuguese Western
The Cowboy, RTP's new fictional series, premiered on December 2 on RTP 1 and RTP Play. It tells the story of Faustino Cavaco, the famous "Cowboy " who terrorized the Algarve in the 1980s. Winking at westerns and with high-quality cinematography by João Ribeiro, the series blends crime and punishment in a rural, Portuguese setting.

THE ENGLISHMAN’S PAPERS (Os Papéis do Inglês), a film by Sérgio Graciano, based on the trilogy "Os Filhos de Próspero", by the Angolan writer Ruy Duarte de Carvalho, was selected for the Official Selection in Competition of Tokyo International Film Festival, and will be in the running for the prestigious Tokyo Sakura Grand Prix.

Starting in September, Tiago Guedes' film "Diálogos Depois do Fim" will return to cinemas, offering audiences a new opportunity to revisit this remarkable work. Plus, the series "O Americano" will soon premiere on RTP1, while we move forward with three new projects that have received support from the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual (ICA).

Dialogues After the End, film and series by Tiago Guedes premiering at LEFFEST 2023
Dialogues After the End, film and series, will have their first screening in Portugal at LEFFEST 2023 which starts on the 10th of November. 13 dialogues from the series, grouped into four different programs, can be seen during the two weekends, at Nimas, at 11am. The film will be shown on Sunday, the 19th, at 7pm, also at Cinema Nimas.
