SHE LOOKED WITHOUT SEEING, Fanny Ardant's fourth feature as a director, has been selected for the International Perspective section of the São Paulo International Film Festival, Brazil's largest film festival, which celebrates its 50th edition this year from 15 to 29 October. The film will have its world premiere there, on 19 and 20 October.

Shot entirely on the island of São Miguel, in the Azores, ELA OLHAVA SEM NADA VER is a romantic and atmospheric film, steeped in mystery and intrigue, about a young woman with no memory who washes up on an island where everyone keeps secrets.

Starring Carolina Amaral and Ana Padrão, with Miguel Borges, Paulo Pires and Vladimir Mishukov, and a special appearance by Gérard Depardieu, the film is spoken in Portuguese, French and Russian.

A 100% Portuguese production by APM - Actions Per Minute, with the support of ICA, PIC Portugal and RTP, and the collaboration of the Municipality of Ponta Delgada.

Carolina Amaral and producer Ana Pinhão Moura will be in São Paulo to present the film.
